Multispectral imagery (MSI) refers to optical satellite imagery suitable for daytime monitoring. MSI contains several spectral bands which can be used to generate indices such as NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), or to monitor changes in areas and objects of interest.

MSI on HomePort is provided by Satellogic, a leading imaging constellation operator. Satellogic’s fleet of 43 NewSat satellites provides better than daily revisit and <1 m ground sampling distance (GSD), as well as full global coverage.
